Sparkbridge Capital (SBC) is a proprietary trading firm located in mid-town Kuala Lumpur.  We specialized in short term trading and education for Currencies, Metals and Stocks.

What is your recruitment process and how do you approve traders application to join your trading desk?

Our intake process for traders is pretty straight forward, where traders need to learn at least one of our proprietary systems that we teach our very same traders at the desk.  Then you need to  prove that you are able to pilot the system independently, with minimum supervision and stay consistently profitable, with good risk and money management.

Does the hiring process rules applies to traders on the desk or remote traders?

Rules applies to both types of traders, either at our desk or a remote trader.

What is the minimum learning curve for the candidate to be suitable as a proprietary trader at your desk?

This is subjective to each trader or student in terms of their learning pace, personality, psychology ,discipline, risk tolerance, trading style and money management.  Most of our students undergoes the turtle hiring process, take from one day to few days to learn the system at their own pace.  Then they start applying on the demo for around 2-3 months to acquire the right skill and master it.  We allocate funds to traders gradually at the discretion of the fund manager and risk department.  Gradually, we increase the buying power for qualified traders and push them to become their best version of elite traders.

Why does it take 2-3 months to fund traders?

Research and psychology reports shows that an average human being can learn a skill and can make it a habit within 90-120 days.  We are opening this opportunity to everyone who have the passion for the financial market, and have the discipline and patience to become a proprietary trader.  From our side, we aim to allocate funds to the right talents with a pair f steady hands, and not gamblers, with a good mindset and good risk mitigation.  Those are some of key requirements to be successful in this business.

Do you make exceptions for experienced traders in term of shortening the hiring process and funding?

Do you offer the same systems to the general public who wants to trade their own funds instead of being a trader at your firm?

What is your opinion that there is a bias claiming that if a trading system is widely spread and used, it won’t work or will have time decay?

As it is a bias and might be relatively true but from the other hand, the ocean of the financial markets is pretty wide, and we always have teams of experts that keeps our systems up to date and never exhausted to stay ahead of the game, period.

How do you keep tracks of students and traders performances while they are still learning and piloting the systems taught by your firm?

Our trainees will need to open an account with one of our partner brokers and agree to grant us permission to access their performances.  This will enable us to decide on their eligibility to be funded by our firm.

What is the success rate of your trading systems?

We have multiple trading systems in play from scalping, intraday trading to swing trading. The success rates varies from 60%-85%, and it continues to improve daily.

What is the percentage % of commission payouts that traders will expect at Sparkbridge Capital?

Our firm rewards traders on profit generated with a percentage between 30% to 50%, based on metrics tracking,  performances and risk, money management.  It will be monitored by our Risk Department.

When trader can expect their payout?

Traders can request withdrawal every 15th of the following month.  Funds will be wired to their respective bank account provided that has been signed in the traders agreement with our firm.
